I very much enjoyed my stay on the way to Portland, and decided to stay there again when I returned to the Bay Area a week later.

Friendly people wonderful ambiance. We were familiar with the town as it was 35 years ago. The conversion from ex company town to awesome historical bed and breakfast experience has been artfully and exuberantly done. We would return in a heartbeat.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and representative of the period look. Biggest drawback was internal water damage and exterior condition of...peeling paint and roof in need of major repair.
